A toxin is any substance that results in an adverse chemical or physiological reaction within your body when it is digested and undermines your health or causes stress to your biochemical and organ functions. If toxins continue to accumulate in your body, the accumulation could cause the breakdown of your immune system and your major internal organs. To prevent the accumulation of toxins in our systems, we not only have to stay aware of everything we use and consume daily, as toxin exposure is often unavoidable, it is also crucial that the body be detoxified regularly.
